Romans 8:15 says we are not slaves but given the spirit of adoption to dry out Abba, Father! Adoption is the picture of salvation. We are given a new name, new family, and new inheritance. It is a lot like the picture of being grafted in in Romans 11. We are entitled to the inheritance as sons.
